Pursuant to the Bill (Reg. No.3556), pensions granted to women are increased by means of improvement of a mechanism for calculating the coefficient of wages with a possibility to exempt reduced wages in the period of looking for a child till it is three years old. Pensions rendered to the season workers are increased by means of enhancing the procedure of calculating insurance record. A full calendar year will be included into the record, provided a yearly minimum insurance fee is paid.
Furthermore, in 2009, the rate of pension granted to the pensioners who are employed (perform activity related to the obtaining of income) will be increased with account for a new rate of a living wage.
